EBC Racing 16-20 Porsche 911 (991/2) Carrera 3.0TT (Cast Iron Rotor Only) RP-X Front Brake Pads

The EBC Racing RP-X has been developed to redefine the limits of braking performance on the racetrack. Unlike the RP-1, the focus of the RP-X is on an extremely strong response (initial bite) and a consistently high friction coefficient across the entire temperature window. It is the perfect tool for heavy, high-performance vehicles and drivers who prefer direct and aggressive feedback from the braking system. The RP-X compound is based on a high-performance carbon-aramid structure, developed for the toughest competitive use. The RP-X offers immediate, powerful deceleration at the first touch of the pedal – ideal for the latest possible braking maneuvers just before the apex. With a consistently high friction coefficient of 0.55, the pad offers unparalleled braking stability even under extreme heat development (up to 850°C). The mechanical interlocking of the friction material with the backplate ensures maximum safety and prevents pad detachment under the highest loads. Thanks to a special high-temperature scorching process at the factory, the RP-X is fully operational after only a few braking cycles on the track. Like all products from the EBC Racing department, the RP-X was developed exclusively for motorsport. It does not have ECE-R90 approval and may not be used on public roads.
