EBC Racing 2012+ BMW 1 Series (F) RP-1 Race Rear Brake Pads

EBC Racing’s RP-1 rear brake pads (DP82133RP1) deliver consistent, high-performance braking for BMW M Lite and M cars used in serious track conditions. Designed with a high friction coefficient of 0.45μ that remains stable up to and beyond 750°C, RP-1 offers exceptional thermal stability and fade resistance for high-performance driving. With a cold friction of 0.35μ under 100°C, RP-1 pads provide confident initial bite even when cold—ideal for use in non-European markets where Reg 90 certification is not required for road use. This compound also offers impressively low disc wear and delivers a progressive pedal feel with excellent modulation, without the harsh bite or excessive noise common with other race pads. As a more forgiving alternative to EBC’s more aggressive RP-X compound, RP-1 is better suited for light to medium weight vehicles, cars running standard brake systems, or vehicles without ABS.
