The EBC Brakes RP-1 is a race compound brake pad designed for exceptional braking performance, driver feel, and control. These pads feature a low wear rate for increased pad life, making them ideal for longer races. Their excellent modulation ensures repeatable braking performance lap after lap.

The RP-1 pads are thermally bedded, eliminating the need for on-track bedding. They utilize a stainless steel back plate to reduce heat conduction and lower brake fluid temperature, helping to maintain pedal feel during a race. A Nucap NRS hook pad retention system prevents pad separation from the back plate, enhancing safety.
