It includes high-efficiency Ultimax EBC pads with Aramid fiber, fully shimmed and chamfered, and featuring a patented EBC Brake-in coating for faster pad break-in. The rotors are direct-fit OEM replacements with a geomet anti-rust surface coating, fully balanced, and runout tested for smooth braking. These brake pads and rotors are designed for daily driving and offer long-lasting, quiet performance with low dust. EBC RK Series Premium OE Replacement Plain Brake Rotors are sized and shaped to OE factory dimensions with strict quality controls and machined to extremely tight tolerances (<0.05 mm). They are made from high-quality "gray" iron that meets or exceeds factory original specifications for thermal buildup, brake noise, vibration, and wear. The anodized layer on the rotors is designed to disappear in the area where the brake pads contact the rotor. EBC recommends these for use with Ultimax and Yellowstuff pads and for normal street driving, high-performance street driving, truck or SUV use, drifting, and short track runs. A 500-mile break-in period with lighter braking is recommended.
