S12KF1688 FRONT EBC Stage 12 Kit

The EBC S12KF1688 kit combines EBC Redstuff ceramic low-dust brake pads with RK series premium OE replacement plain brake rotors. The Redstuff pads are designed for high-performance muscle cars and sport compacts, offering improved stopping distances (up to 42 ft shorter than stock parts) and producing 50% less dust than OEM pads. They feature Aramid fiber enhanced with ceramic granules, fully shimmed, slotted, and chamfered, with a patented EBC Brake-in coating for fast pad seating. The RK series rotors are direct-fit OEM replacements, sized and shaped to factory dimensions with strict quality controls and machined to tight tolerances (<0.05 mm). They are made from high-quality "gray" iron with a higher carbon content to reduce brake shudder, heat cracking, and high-frequency vibrations. The rotors also have a black GEOMET™ and NITROTHERM™ anti-corrosive finish. This kit is recommended for normal street driving, high-performance street driving, truck or SUV use, drifting, and short track runs. A 500-mile break-in period with lighter braking is recommended.
