They produce 50% less dust than OEM pads and are ultra-quiet due to beveled edges and a center-line slot that vents cool air to prevent thermal cracking. These pads are custom-built for direct replacement of factory pads and come with a 12-month/10,000-mile warranty. While capable for track use, EBC Yellow Stuff pads are recommended for true racing applications due to Red Stuff's shorter lifespan when racing. EBC RK Series Premium OE Replacement Plain Brake Rotors are sold in pairs and are sized and shaped to OE factory dimensions with strict quality controls and tight tolerances (less than 0.05 millimeters). Made from high-quality "gray" iron, they meet or exceed factory specifications for thermal buildup, brake noise, vibration, and wear. The rotors feature a black GEOMET™ and NITROTHERM™ anti-corrosive finish. EBC recommends a 500-mile break-in period with lighter braking. They are suitable for normal street driving, high-performance street driving, truck or SUV use, drifting, and short track runs. The higher carbon and silicone content in the iron compound helps to reduce brake shudder, heat cracking, and high-frequency vibrations that cause squealing.
