EBC Red Stuff Brake Pads provide enhanced control for high-performance muscle and sport compact cars, offering a 42-foot reduction in stopping distance compared to stock pads. They produce 50% less dust than OEM pads for cleaner wheels and are suitable for occasional track use (though Yellow Stuff is recommended for dedicated racing). These pads are custom-built for direct replacement, feature beveled edges and a center-line slot for quiet, squeal-free operation, and come with a 12-month/10,000-mile warranty. They offer a high initial brake effect and a higher heat threshold than EBC's Green Stuff line. The EBC RK Series Premium OE Replacement Plain Brake Rotors are sold in pairs and are sized and shaped to OE factory dimensions with strict quality controls and tolerances of less than 0.05 millimeters. Made from high-quality "gray" iron, they meet or exceed factory original specifications for thermal buildup, brake noise, vibration, and wear. They feature a black GEOMET™ and NITROTHERM™ anti-corrosive finish. Recommended for normal street driving, high-performance street driving, truck or SUV use, drifting, and short track runs, they are also recommended for use with EBC Ultimax and Yellowstuff pads. The higher carbon content in the "gray" iron reduces brake shudder, heat cracking, and high-frequency vibrations. EBC recommends a 500-mile break-in period.
