EBC S12 Kits Redstuff Ceramic and RK Rotors – Auto Version of S14 Kits. This kit includes high-efficiency EBC brake pads built with aramid fiber enhanced with ceramic granules, fully shimmed, slotted, and chamfered, and featuring the patented EBC Brake-in™ coating for fast pad seating after install. The pads deliver great braking power and produce 50% less dust than OEM replacement pads. The rotors are direct fit OEM replacements with "thermic black" anti-rust surface coating, fully balanced, and runout tested for smooth braking. They are designed to meet or reduce factory levels of heat buildup, brake noise, vibration, and wear. The high-quality "gray" iron features a higher carbon content to reduce brake shudder, heat cracking, and high-frequency vibrations that cause squealing. EBC recommends a 500-mile break-in period with lighter braking application.
