Yellow Stuff Brake pads are capable of high temperature use with very good wear life - perfect for all track use. This new formulation sets a new trend in race type brake pad compounds. They provide championship stopping power and are EBC's highest gripping pads, formulated for all track use as well as performance street use. They offer whisper-quiet operation due to beveled edges and a center-line slot that defends against squeals. Treated with EBC's unique Break-In surface coating for rapid bedding and strong braking power fresh from the box, the pads and pad plates are powder coated for a lifetime of rust-free service. The center-line slot vents heat and gas to prevent thermal cracks and fade. EBC backs Yellow Stuff Brake Pads with a 12-month/10,000 mile warranty. The bite from cold is superb, which is uncommon with race materials, making this a pad that can be safely used on the highway as well as on the race track. This new formulation has been used by numerous championship race and rally drivers since 2004 and is a milestone in brake pad material development. EBC RK Series Premium OE Replacement Plain Brake Rotors are sold in pairs, sized and shaped to OE factory dimensions with strict quality controls and machined to be within extremely tight tolerances of less than 0.05 millimeters. High quality "gray" iron meets or exceeds factory original specifications regarding thermal buildup, brake noise, vibration, and wear. The anodized layer is designed to disappear in the area that the brake pads contact the rotor. They are recommended by EBC for use with EBC Ultimax and Yellowstuff pads and feature a Black GEOMET™ and NITROTHERM™ anti-corrosive finish. These rotors are recommended for normal street driving, high-performance street driving, truck or SUV use, drifting, and short track runs. High quality "gray" iron features a higher carbon content to reduce brake shudder, heat cracking, and high-frequency vibrations which cause squealing. EBC recommends a 500-mile break-in period with lighter braking application.
