S13KR1071 REAR EBC Stage 13 Kit

The EBC S13 Kit combines EBC's flagship GG rated Yellowstuff high-friction brake pads with RK Series Premium OE Replacement Plain Brake Rotors. Yellowstuff Pads are designed for maximum brake effect, suitable for both all-track use and performance street driving. They feature beveled edges and a center-line slot for quiet operation, and a patented "Brake-In" surface coating for rapid bedding. The pads and backing plates are powder-coated for rust resistance, and the center-line slot helps vent heat and gas to prevent thermal cracks and fade. They offer superb bite from cold, which is unusual for race materials, making them safe for highway use. Backed by a 12-month/10,000-mile warranty. RK Rotors are sold in pairs and are sized and shaped to OE factory dimensions, with strict quality controls and machined to extremely tight tolerances (less than 0.05 millimeters). They are made from high-quality "gray" iron, which meets or exceeds factory specifications regarding thermal buildup, brake noise, vibration, and wear. The anodized layer on the rotor is designed to disappear in the area contacted by the brake pads. They feature a black GEOMET™ and NITROTHERM™ anti-corrosive finish. EBC recommends these rotors for normal street driving, high-performance street driving, truck/SUV use, drifting, and short track runs. A higher percentage of carbon and silicone in the iron compound reduces brake shudder, heat cracking, and high-frequency vibrations that cause squealing. A 500-mile break-in period with lighter braking is recommended.
