This EBC S13 kit includes Yellowstuff Pads and RK Rotors. Yellowstuff Brake pads are designed for high temperature use with excellent wear life, making them suitable for both track and performance street use. They offer superb bite from cold, which is uncommon for race materials, allowing safe use on highways as well as race tracks. The pads feature beveled edges and a center-line slot to prevent squeals and vent heat and gas, reducing thermal cracks and fade. They are treated with EBC's unique Break-In surface coating for rapid bedding. The pads and pad plates are powder coated for rust-free service. EBC backs Yellowstuff Brake Pads with a 12-month/10,000-mile warranty. The EBC RK Series Premium OE Replacement Plain Brake Rotors are sold in pairs and are sized and shaped to OE factory dimensions with strict quality controls and machined to extremely tight tolerances (less than 0.05 millimeters). They are made from high-quality "gray" iron, which meets or exceeds factory original specifications regarding thermal buildup, brake noise, vibration, and wear. The rotors feature a Black GEOMET™ and NITROTHERM™ anti-corrosive finish. EBC recommends a 500-mile break-in period with lighter braking application for these rotors. They are recommended for use with EBC Ultimax and Yellowstuff pads and are suitable for normal street driving, high-performance street driving, truck or SUV use, drifting, and short track runs. The higher carbon content in the "gray" iron helps reduce brake shudder, heat cracking, and high-frequency vibrations that cause squealing.
