They are formulated for quiet stops with beveled edges and a center-line slot, producing 30% less dust than stock pads. The pads and plates are green powder-coated for rust resistance and feature EBC's patented Brake-in coating for fast pad seating. EBC RK Series Premium OE Replacement Plain Brake Rotors are sized to OE factory dimensions with tight tolerances (<0.05 mm). They are made from high-quality "gray" iron with a higher carbon content to reduce brake shudder, heat cracking, and high-frequency vibrations. The rotors have a black GEOMET™ and NITROTHERM™ anti-corrosive finish.
