The EBC S20K1639 kit includes EBC Ultimax brake pads and RK series rotors, designed as an OE replacement for daily driving. These premium quality, British-made pads are engineered to surpass the performance of factory-installed brake pads. They are compatible with original equipment hardware and feature a high-friction European-spec compound. The pads are shimmed, slotted, and chamfered to ensure quiet operation and optimal performance. Constructed from a blend of synthetic aramid fibers and metallic filament, Ultimax pads offer extended life and vibration-free braking, making them ideal for non-sport urban driving across various vehicle types including sedans, SUVs, and light trucks. The EBC RK Series Plain Brake Rotors are precision-machined to original equipment dimensions with extremely tight tolerances (less than 0.05 millimeters), ensuring a direct fit. Made from high-quality 'gray' iron with a higher carbon content, they are designed to improve upon factory levels of heat buildup, brake noise, vibration, and wear, thereby reducing the likelihood of warping, cracking, and squealing. The rotors are finished with a black GEOMET™ and NITROTHERM™ anti-corrosive coating for enhanced durability.
