The EBC S4KR1148 is a high-performance rear disc brake pad and rotor kit. It features EBC Redstuff ceramic brake pads designed for fast street use, offering up to 50% less dust than OEM pads and significant improvements in stopping power, reportedly reducing stopping distances by 42 feet over stock pads. The pads feature a patented EBC Brake-in coating for rapid bedding, beveled edges, and a center-line slot to minimize noise and prevent thermal cracking. The kit also includes EBC USR BlackDash Series Sport Slotted Rotors. These 1-piece rotors have multiple narrow, angled slots for superior cooling, improved pad bite, and efficient expulsion of heat, water, brake dust, and friction gases. The rotors are thermic anti-rust coated, fully balanced, and run-out tested for smooth braking and even pad wear. The kit components are DP31700C (pads) and USR7201 (rotors), with a rotor diameter of 10.2 inches (261mm) and thickness of 10mm.
