The Apex EC-7RS is a premium forged alloy wheel designed for performance driving. Manufactured using a 10,000 metric ton forging process, it achieves exceptional strength and a refined grain structure by eliminating porosity. This process results in a wheel that is both lightweight and robust, boasting a JWL load rating of 1521 lbs and APEX's Sprint™ line rating of 1600 lbs, which is 32% more reinforcement than their flow-formed wheels. Key features include wider and deeper side-milled spokes, achieved through precision CNC machining to remove non-essential material, contributing to its performance characteristics. The wheel is engineered with big brake clearance in mind, featuring an innovative high-clearance barrel design and vehicle-specific spoke profiles. Its design allows for deep concave spoke profiles, optimized using 3D laser scans of factory and aftermarket brake kits. Additionally, the EC-7RS incorporates a paintless knurled bead to maximize tire grip and prevent slippage under hard acceleration and braking, and is built to accommodate over-sized race lugs and impact sockets for quick wheel changes. Specifications include an 18-inch diameter, 9.5-inch width, ET35 offset, 5x120 bolt pattern, and a 72.56mm center bore, finished in Brushed Clear.
