Description

Constructed from billet aluminum with a solid rubber bushing, this mount effectively reduces wheel hop without the harsh vibrations often associated with overly stiff polyurethane mounts. It's a lighter alternative to the stock mount, weighing 1.65 lbs versus the stock 2.2 lbs. This transmission mount is engineered to withstand high-performance launches, as evidenced by its use in hard-launching vehicles achieving impressive 60-foot times. The solid rubber bushing offers a balance between performance and driver comfort. It is important to note that this mount will not work on 2004 Ion Redlines, 2.4L or 2.2L engines, and it is not compatible with automatic transmissions. For proper installation, torque specifications are provided: 66 ft lbs for the mount to cradle and 74 ft lbs each for the mount to bellhousing.
