Ecsta V720 Summer Track and Competition Tire

The Kumho Ecsta V720 is a summer track and competition tire engineered for demanding performance applications. The tire's wide, optimized outside blocks deliver exceptional grip during cornering and contribute to remarkably stable dry handling. For wet conditions, the Ecsta V720 features crossed lateral grooves that effectively channel water away from the tread, enhancing wet handling and reducing hydroplaning. Inside grooves help clear water from the tread, while outside grooves manage shoulder block water for improved wet cornering. Additionally, 3D hot dimples are incorporated to help dissipate heat, extending tread life and further improving wet performance. Constructed with a high-tensile CARCASS and a super-hard APEX, this tire combines superior grip and performance with an unusually long tread life for its category. It utilizes reinforced max grip technology, drawing from Formula racing, with a new under-tread rubber application and a super high-grip resin to maximize traction. For staggered or split-fitment applications (where front and rear tires are different sizes), Kumho recommends replacing all four tires at the same time. If only two tires are replaced, the new tires should always be installed on the rear axle to maximize grip and water evacuation.
