Description

The EQT Vortex XL Turbine Housing is a direct swap for any current EQT Vortex turbo, offering an upgrade path for increased performance. The benefits include the allowance for more ignition advance and improved overall engine flow. Users can expect a gain of 20-40 wheel horsepower (whp) with this upgrade. While it slows spool by approximately 200-300 RPM, full boost can still be achieved around 3300 RPM. The boost delivery becomes smoother and more progressive compared to the standard housing, making it an excellent choice for those seeking enhanced top-end power. This housing was utilized in a Golf R to achieve a 10.46-second quarter-mile at 131 mph.
