The RENNtech ECU Hand Held Tuner (HHT) is a performance upgrade designed for the W220 S55 AMG Kompressor. This module provides an increase in power, boosting performance to an estimated 528 horsepower and 552 lb-ft of torque. It achieves these gains by optimizing ignition timing, throttle mapping, air/fuel ratios, increasing the engine's rev limiter, and modifying boost mapping for the supercharged engine. The HHT system allows users the flexibility to switch between the RENNtech tuned file and the vehicle's original stock ECU programming. This is accomplished by plugging the module directly into the OBD2 port, with the process taking only a few minutes. The RENNtech tuning software is the result of extensive research, development, and testing, ensuring both significant performance improvements and daily driver reliability. For the S55 AMG Kompressor (W220 | M113 | 5.5L Supercharged), the stock performance figures are 493 HP at 6,100 RPM and 516 LB-FT at 2,650 RPM. With the RENNtech ECU HHT, these figures are elevated to 528 HP at 6,100 RPM and 552 LB-FT at 2,650 RPM. The product is compatible with model years 2003-2006 for the M113 engine.
