The RENNtech ECU Hand Held Tuner (HHT) provides an easy-to-use solution for upgrading engine performance on 2003-2006 Mercedes-Benz SL 500 (R230) vehicles. This module connects directly to the OBD2 port, allowing users to flash the ECU with RENNtech's proprietary software or revert to the original stock file at any time. The process requires no ECU removal and can be completed in just a few minutes. By optimizing ignition timing, throttle mapping, and air/fuel ratios, the HHT enhances power delivery across the entire RPM range. The software specifically increases output from the factory-rated 302 HP and 339 LB-FT of torque to a modified 320 HP and 355 LB-FT. This upgrade leverages RENNtech's long-standing research in electronic engine management to deliver performance improvements while maintaining daily driver reliability.
