ECU Ignition and Fuel Control Module

The Vortex ECU is a performance-enhancing ignition and fuel control module specifically designed as a direct replacement for the 2020-2022 Yamaha YZ450F's stock ECU. It provides instant plug-in performance without requiring modifications to the wiring harness. This ECU offers improved bottom-end power and throttle response, alongside enhanced top-end and over-rev capabilities. It features power ignition and fuel mapping, with pre-programmed maps developed through extensive dyno and track testing by Vortex Ignitions engineers. Key features include 10 performance fuel and ignition maps, and the ability to adjust fuel mapping by +12.5% to -10% across low, mid, and high throttle bands using integrated switches. The module also includes diagnostic flash codes for sensor faults, a V-Boost programmable voltage boost circuit for maximizing spark energy, and higher or lower rev limits where applicable. It is designed with a robust, fully encapsulated, and O-ring sealed construction for reliability. This Vortex ECU is intended for closed-course competition use only and is not emission or noise compliant. Due to its electrical nature, it is considered a non-returnable product. Professional installation is highly recommended. The unit is dual-injector capable and features a multi-function port for optional accessories like a map switch, second injector, or speed shifter.
