The Polini 171.0018 ECU is a performance-oriented ignition control unit designed to unlock the potential of 125cc and 150cc iGET 3V Euro 5 engines. By managing fuel and ignition timing, this control unit optimizes engine operation for the supported Piaggio Liberty 125/150 iGET 3V E5 (2021 onwards, engine code MD41M/MD42M) and Vespa Primavera/Sprint 125 iGET 3V ie E5 ('21-'24 models, code MD11M). Installation requires specific hardware: this unit must be mounted in conjunction with Polini part number 140.0235. Users should verify their specific engine code and model year before installation to ensure compatibility, as this unit is engineered specifically for the designated Euro 5 emissions-compliant fuel-injected configurations.
