The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio ECU Tune is a software calibration developed by Ideal Race. All calibrations undergo rigorous testing using an all-wheel-drive Dynapack, as well as track and road testing, to produce enhanced engine performance and best-in-class power.

Each calibration is rigorously tested on an all-wheel-drive Dynapack and through real-world track and road conditions to ensure enhanced engine performance and superior power delivery. Ideal Race offers staged upgrade packages to tailor the performance experience. Stage 1 Calibration is optimized for stock OEM engines without hardware modifications. Stage 2 Calibration requires downpipes and is designed to complement the Ideal Race Carbon Fiber Intake System. Beyond raw power, this ECU tune incorporates several enhancements. The Stop/Start Invert feature defaults the system to OFF, reducing wear on bearings. Left Foot Braking (LFB) sensitivity is reduced for optimized cornering and enthusiast driving. A Hard Cut Rev Limiter uses a fuel cut strategy for precise engagement without compromising boost. The 'Pops n' Bangs' feature adds an aggressive exhaust note through ignition timing adjustments, with limitations to manage Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs). Exhaust flaps are retuned for consistent back pressure and drone reduction. This tune is currently a bench flash only, requiring your vehicle's ECU to be shipped to Ideal Race for reprogramming. Instructions and an order form are provided. Ideal Race ships ECUs back via UPS Next Day Air within the continental United States at no extra cost. Clone services are included.
