ECU Tune 3.3T-GDI

The LAP3 ECU Tune is a dynamic ECU tuning solution engineered for the Kia Stinger 3.3T-GDI, applicable to 2018-2024 models. This tune offers a comprehensive package of enhancements including increased boost pressure, adjusted ignition and cam timing, and optimized AFR & Target Lambda values. It also unlocks various torque management systems and removes the top speed governor for enhanced performance. The tuning solution provides several features such as race throttle mapping and adjusted wastegate duty cycles, with built-in over-boost protection. It can also disable catalytic converter efficiency codes for compatibility with HFC/catless exhaust systems. Optional add-ons include Stage 1 Launch Control & Anti-Lag tuning, which builds up to 8psi during launch sequences, and Ghost Cam VVT Tuning for an aggressive idle sound. Further optional features include exhaust tuning and ISG (Idle Stop & Go) disable tuning for a quieter start-up and reduced component wear. Performance gains vary significantly with tune stages, from the Stage 1.0 tune offering 380-460 RWHP (requiring 91+ Octane and OEM primary downpipes) to the Stage X ECU Tune for hybrid and big turbo setups, capable of 450-1000 RWHP depending on the specific engine build, turbo capability, fueling, and octane used. All ECU Tunes require HKS M45IL spark plugs. Specific stages have further requirements, such as Stage 2 & 2.5 needing race fuel mixes (95+ Octane) or water-methanol injection systems. For the Flame Tune, a full catless exhaust system is mandatory. It is recommended to use synthetic 5w40 or 0w40 oil every 3-4k miles and consider ARP CA625+ Studs & Block Thread Reinforcement Kit for builds around 500 WHP and up. Note that your Genesis Connect and UVO service will be offline while running the ECU Tune.
