ECU Tune

The Integrated Engineering DSG Tune (IESOVX2) is a TCU software upgrade designed to significantly enhance the performance and responsiveness of your vehicle's DQ250 DSG transmission. This tune is required for high-torque IE ECU tunes and provides lightning-fast gear shifts, enabling higher shift points up to 6800 RPM to keep your engine in its powerband. It also eliminates the kick-down function in manual and Tiptronic modes, ensuring you maintain your selected gear during aggressive driving or over rough terrain. The drive mapping has been completely reworked to offer a more enthusiast-friendly experience, shifting at slightly higher RPMs to avoid engine lugging and vibration. The downshifting aspect is also improved, delivering power more quickly when needed. To further enhance performance and durability, the tune includes increased clutch pressure, allowing the transmission to hold more torque without compromising clutch health, resulting in more aggressive acceleration and launches. Installation is straightforward, as the tune is flashed directly through the OBD-II port, eliminating the need to remove the TCU. This allows for in-driveway installation or service at an IE software dealer. Updates and fault code reading are also facilitated with an IE PowerLink cable. The take-off lag commonly associated with DSG transmissions has been reduced through reworked clutch engagement. This tune is compatible with specific VW and Audi models equipped with the DQ250 DSG transmission, including the Audi S3 (2015-2017), A3 (2015-2018), and TTS (2016-2018), as well as the VW Golf R (2015-2018), GTI (2015-2018), Golf SportWagen AWD (2018+), and Golf Alltrack AWD (2015+). The IE DSG Tune works seamlessly with IE ECU Tunes, having been developed concurrently on an in-house dynamometer to unlock the full potential of your 2.0 TSI Gen 3 engine and transmission. Once purchased and applied, the tune is permanently registered to the vehicle's ECU and is non-transferable, except in cases of vehicle ownership transfer.
