ECU Tune

The Integrated Engineering DSG Tune is a performance software calibration specifically designed for the VW MK6 GTI, Jetta, GLI, and Audi 8J TTS models equipped with the 6-speed DQ250 DSG transmission and EA888 Gen1/2 TSI or EA113 engines. This tune offers several key technical improvements, including higher shift points to utilize the full powerband and reworked drive mapping for a more enthusiast-friendly experience, eliminating low-RPM lugging. It also features increased clutch pressure to handle more torque without accelerated wear, leading to greater acceleration and more aggressive launches. Installation is straightforward, as the tune is flashed directly through the OBD-II port, requiring no removal of the TCU. This allows for easy installation at home or via an IE software dealer. A PowerLink cable enables future updates and fault code reading. The IE DSG Tune was developed in conjunction with IE ECU tunes on an in-house dynamometer for optimal synergy, unlocking the full potential of the 2.0 TSI engine and transmission. It is crucial to note that this tune is only compatible with EA888 Gen1 and Gen2 TSI engines. It does NOT support EA888 Gen 3 engines found in many Jetta and GLI models after 2013.5. Furthermore, this tune is exclusively for vehicles equipped with 6-speed DSG (DQ250) transmissions and will not function with manual transmissions. The tune is permanently registered to the vehicle's ECU upon purchase and is non-transferable, except in the event of a vehicle sale. Models not equipped with factory launch control will not gain this feature.
