The KTuner V1.2 ECU Flash Tuner is an engine management solution that allows users to upload custom tunes directly to their factory ECU through the OBD-II port. The device comes with preloaded base maps for common modifications, offering a starting point for tuning. Key features include on-board datalogging, which allows for data recording without a laptop, and multiple tune storage capabilities. The KTuner V1.2 locks to a single ECU upon the first flash but can be unlocked by reverting the car to its factory tune, enabling resale or transfer to another vehicle. The TunerView app provides Bluetooth connectivity for Android devices, while Windows laptops can be used for flashing tunes, even for iOS users. Compatibility varies by trim and ECU version. A partial list of compatible vehicles includes various Honda and Acura models such as the 2016-2021 Civic 1.5T, 2017-2021 Civic Type R, 2013-2017 Accord, and many others.
