The RENNtech ECU Upgrade is a performance-enhancing module for the W164 ML 350. This upgrade utilizes RENNtech's proprietary tuning software, developed through extensive research and testing, to unlock the vehicle's potential while maintaining daily driver reliability. The software modifies key engine parameters such as ignition timing, throttle mapping, air/fuel ratios, and the engine's rev limiter. For turbocharged vehicles, boost mapping is also adjusted. This ECU upgrade transforms the ML 350 (W164) from its stock performance of 268 HP and 258 LB-FT of torque to a modified output of 290 HP and 278 LB-FT of torque. The performance gains are experienced across the entire power band, providing a significant boost in both horsepower and torque.
