Edelbrock 351 W Perf RPM Hyd Roller Camshaft

Edelbrock Rollin' Thunder Hydraulic Roller Camshaft #2281 is designed for Small Block Ford 351W V8 engines (1969-1996). These camshafts are for street high-performance and racing applications only - not for heavy vehicles. They work best when matched with Performer RPM Air-Gap Dual Quad intake (p/n 350-75354) and Performer RPM Cylinder Heads (p/n 350-60255). Use with high stall torque converter only and will not work with stock valve springs. This camshaft requires Edelbrock roller tappet lifter set (p/n 350-97453), adjustable valvetrain components, screw-in studs, high performance adjustable rocker arms and at least 9.5:1 compression ratio. Headers, high-energy ignitions, lower-than-stock rear gearing and a high-performance torque converter (in auto. transmission equipped vehicles) are necessary. Do not use late model timing chain and gear sets that are designed for emission-controlled engines; use Performer-Link Timing Chain Gear Set 350-7820 (1965-72.5) or 350-7811 (1973-90), or Accu-Drive gear drive 350-7892. This part is only legal for sale and use on Uncontrolled (Non-Emissions Controlled) Vehicles or on vehicles used solely for the purposes of closed competition racing.
