The Castrol EDGE 5W-40 Euro Full Synthetic Motor Oil is engineered to meet and exceed the stringent specifications set by European car manufacturers. Its advanced full synthetic formulation, enhanced with Fluid TITANIUM technology, provides superior engine protection by increasing film strength, reducing friction, and preventing oil breakdown under the intense pressure, heat, and friction generated in high-output engines. This motor oil is formulated to deliver maximum protection and performance, ensuring your engine runs better for longer. It boasts 1.2X better viscosity control and 2X better engine cleanliness compared to the test limit, as measured in the DV6 test. The oil meets or exceeds numerous manufacturer-approved specifications, including ACEA A3/B4, API SP, BMW Longlife-01, Porsche A40, MB-Approval MB 229.5, Renault RN0700 / RN0710, and VW 502 00 / 505 00, and meets engine test requirements of Chrysler MS 12991. Castrol EDGE 5W-40 is suitable for European cars that require this specific viscosity grade and specification.
