EFR 7163 Turbocharger

The Borg Warner EFR 7163 turbocharger is designed for high-performance applications, fitting within the B1 turbo frame size. It features a 57mm compressor inducer diameter and a 71mm compressor wheel outer diameter, coupled with a 63mm turbine wheel outer diameter. This turbocharger boasts a straight compressor outlet for efficient airflow. The turbo utilizes a military-grade dual ceramic ball bearing assembly with a silver-plated metal cage for smooth operation and longevity. The bearing housing is constructed from water-cooled, lightweight aluminum, while the turbine housing is made of stainless steel. This model incorporates a compressor recirculation valve (BOV) and a boost control solenoid valve. It offers flexibility with T25, T4, and V-Band turbine housing options to accommodate various installations. The compressor specifications indicate a Forged-Milled Wheel (FMW) Extended Tip design with a 64 compressor wheel trim and a maximum flow rate of 60 lb/min. The compressor housing features a 2.5″ inlet and a 2.0″ outlet, with an integrated BOV on all EFR compressor housings.
