EFR 7670 Turbocharger

The Borg Warner EFR 7670 turbocharger is engineered for high-performance applications, offering robust construction and advanced features. It utilizes a Forged-Milled Wheel (FMW) compressor with a 57mm inducer diameter and a 76mm exducer, capable of a maximum flow rate of 65 lb/min. This makes it suitable for engines up to approximately 2.6L, targeting a power range often cited between 400-600 HP. On the exhaust side, the EFR 7670 features a twin-scroll turbine housing with a 70mm inducer diameter and a 1.05 A/R ratio. This design promotes improved exhaust gas scavenging and faster spool response. The turbocharger is built on BorgWarner's B2 frame size and includes an integrated external wastegate (EWG) for precise boost control. Key internal components include a dual ceramic ball bearing assembly with a metal cage, contributing to durability and reduced friction.
