EGR Block-Off and Delete Kit

The Damond Motorsports EGR Block-Off and Delete Kit is engineered to remove or block the exhaust gas re-circulation (EGR) system specifically for the 2.3L DISI engine found in the Mazdaspeed3, Mazdaspeed6, and CX-7. This kit provides a comprehensive solution to eliminate exhaust gases from re-entering the intake system. By preventing this recirculation, the engine receives cleaner air, leading to a more effective and cleaner burn. Furthermore, deleting the EGR system prevents the accumulation of harmful soot and carbon buildup within the intake tract, which is particularly beneficial when paired with an oil catch can system to maintain overall intake cleanliness. It includes a barbed fitting intended for the turbo coolant line and all the necessary mounting hardware for installation. The block-off plate's dimensions match the EGR tube's flange, allowing for a clean aesthetic with the original tube and gasket in place. Additionally, a screw-in bung is provided to fully remove the EGR system's connection to the intake manifold.
