By eliminating the EGR system, this kit prevents exhaust gases, carbon, and soot from entering your intake manifold, which can lead to dirty intake valves and degraded engine performance. This upgrade is particularly beneficial for maintaining clean valves, especially when paired with a CorkSport Oil Catch Can. The EGR tube block-off plate is made from laser-cut T304 Stainless Steel for a durable, low-profile seal. The kit also includes a barb for the turbo’s coolant feed line, a stainless steel intake manifold plug, and all necessary high-strength hardware. Removing the OEM EGR valve also provides additional benefits for future modifications. It creates more space near the turbo, simplifying turbo swaps and is often a requirement for certain turbo setups. The EGR valve block-off plate is tapped for a 1/8”-27 NPT fitting, allowing for adaptation to various coolant feed lines. Additionally, an EGR tube delete is a prerequisite for installing the CorkSport Intake Manifold and most other custom intake manifolds. This kit is explicitly noted as being for **Racing Use Only**. Removing the EGR system will trigger two check engine lights: P0401 and P0403. The installation is estimated to take approximately one hour, with a difficulty rating of 3/5.
