EGR Delete Kit

The SPELAB EGR Delete Kit is designed to replace the factory exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system on 2015-2016 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 trucks equipped with the 6.7L Powerstroke Diesel engine. By eliminating the recirculation of exhaust gases, this kit aims to significantly improve diesel engine performance, reduce maintenance costs, and prevent soot buildup that can damage components like Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) and clog valves. Constructed from CNC machined billet aluminum and stainless steel, this kit ensures durability and longevity. It provides a complete EGR delete solution, meaning no other parts are required for installation. The design also includes components to complete the coolant circuit, maintaining proper engine cooling, and features an exhaust cover plate pre-tapped for the Ford factory Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) probe, facilitating easy sensor installation. Installation involves removing the existing EGR system, including the intake manifold, EGR valve, and EGR cooler, then installing the SPELAB components. The kit facilitates completing the coolant circuit and installing the exhaust cover plate. After installation, it is crucial to refill the engine coolant, check for leaks, and perform a final inspection. Tools such as basic hand tools, a torque wrench, a hydraulic jack, jack stands, and a coolant drain pan are recommended for installation. It is essential to verify local emissions regulations before installation, as this product is intended for off-road or race use only and may violate emissions laws. Modifying the vehicle with an EGR delete kit may also void the manufacturer's warranty.
