EGR Delete Kit

The Spelab EGR Valve Cooler Delete Kit is engineered for 2017-2025 L5P Duramax engines, specifically for off-road or race-use applications. This kit removes the factory EGR valve and cooler to reduce heat-related failure points, simplify the engine bay, and support tuned builds. By eliminating the recirculation of hot exhaust gases, the kit allows fresh, dense air to circulate, preventing soot buildup and EGR valve clogging. Constructed from solid carbon steel, this EGR delete kit offers a significant upgrade in temperature resistance, moving from 600 degrees Celsius to 1,500 degrees Celsius. This enhanced material strength prevents soot buildup and EGR valve clogging, leading to improved engine efficiency. The improved exhaust flow enables the turbocharger to spool faster, resulting in quicker throttle response and better overall performance. The installation mounts to the exhaust port and flows coolant through a rubber hose for better oil resistance. The kit is intended for use with a DPF delete capable tuner, which is required to prevent check engine lights or diagnostic trouble codes after installation. SPELAB also offers various configurations, including kits with CAN BUS plugs for 2020+ models to ensure seamless integration with the vehicle's electronic systems and prevent error codes.
