EGR Delete Kit

The Spelab EGR Valve Cooler Delete Kit is specifically designed for off-road and race-use 2017-2025 6.6L Duramax L5P engine owners. This kit aims to reduce heat-related failure points and simplify the engine bay. By removing the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve and cooler, it prevents soot buildup and EGR valve clogging, allowing fresh, dense air to circulate instead of reintroducing hot exhaust gases. This kit features a material upgrade, utilizing solid carbon steel that significantly increases maximum temperature resistance compared to previous aluminum alloy designs. This enhanced high-temperature strength is crucial for preventing component failure in demanding conditions. The improved exhaust flow enabled by this delete kit allows the turbocharger to spool up faster, resulting in quicker throttle response and enhanced performance. The kit mounts to the exhaust port and flows coolant through a rubber hose for better oil resistance. When installing an EGR delete, a DPF delete capable tuner is required to prevent check engine lights or diagnostic trouble codes from appearing. The kit is compatible with 2017-2025 6.6L Duramax Diesel GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD and 2017-2025 6.6L Duramax Diesel Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 HD models. For earlier Duramax models, Spelab also offers LBZ (2006-2007), LMM (2007.5-2010), and LML (2011-2016) EGR delete kits. For 2020+ models, specific configurations including CAN BUS plug kits are available to integrate with the vehicle's electronic control systems and prevent error codes.
