EGR/DPF/DEF Delete Kit

The SPELAB All-in-One Delete Kit is engineered to enhance the performance and longevity of 2013-2018 Dodge Ram 6.7L Diesel 2500 and 3500 trucks by removing restrictive factory emissions control systems. This comprehensive kit targets the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR), Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), and Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) systems, along with the factory tune, to unlock the full potential of the engine. Key benefits include the elimination of forced DPF regenerations, which saves fuel and prevents costly DPF failures. It also addresses EGR clogging, preventing soot buildup in the intake manifold, turbocharger, and valves, thereby maintaining cleaner engine components. The kit is designed to unlock an estimated 80-150+ HP gains, depending on the tune applied, and can improve fuel economy by 1-3 MPG. Additionally, it helps lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs), which is crucial for heavy towing, and contributes to longer engine life by reducing heat stress, keeping oil cleaner, and minimizing turbo wear. However, it is crucial to note that the DPF Delete Kit will not fit Cab & Chassis commercial-style trucks or trucks with air-ride suspension. For 2018+ RAM trucks, the tuner included in this delete kit may only support original PCM software with part numbers beginning with a number; PCMs with part numbers starting with a letter may not be compatible. Proper tuning is absolutely required after installation to disable the DPF/EGR systems in the ECU; without it, the truck may experience error codes, poor performance, or limp mode. This product is intended for off-road or competition use only and will cause the vehicle to fail emissions testing. Installation instructions for the EGR Delete Kit, DPF Race Kit, and Mini Maxx V2 Tuner are available. The installation difficulty is rated as beginner-to-intermediate for DIYers, though EGR components can be challenging due to seized or brittle bolts, potentially requiring professional assistance. While Mini Maxx V2 is an option, newer platforms like EZLynk are now recommended for tuning.
