EGR Valve Cooler Delete Kit

The SPELAB EGR Valve Cooler Delete Kit is engineered for off-road or race-use 2017-2025 L5P Duramax builds, specifically for Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD models with the 6.6L engine. This kit is ideal for owners removing the factory EGR valve and cooler as part of a tuned delete setup, especially in high-load, towing, or performance environments where under-hood heat management is critical. Constructed with a material upgrade from aluminum alloy to solid carbon steel, this kit significantly increases maximum temperature resistance from 600°C to 1,500°C. This enhances high-temperature strength and effectively prevents soot buildup and EGR valve clogging, allowing for the circulation of fresh, dense air instead of reintroducing hot exhaust gases. The improved exhaust flow enables the turbocharger to spool up faster, resulting in quicker throttle response. The kit mounts to the exhaust port and flows coolant through a rubber hose for better oil resistance. Everything needed for a complete installation is included, with an approximate installation time of 2 hours using basic hand tools. When installing an EGR delete, a DPF delete capable tuner is required to prevent check engine lights or diagnostic trouble codes.
