The Autometer EGT Compression Fitting with Weld Bung (5255) is designed to facilitate the installation of an Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) probe. This kit provides a 3/16" compression fitting that connects to a 1/8" NPT male thread, allowing for secure attachment of the thermocouple probe. Included in this kit is a weld-in 1/8" NPT female threaded bung. This component is essential for creating a solid mounting point within your exhaust system.
