EJ207 Short Block Engine Motor

The Subaru EJ207 Short Block is a factory-built STi engine motor, specifically designed as a high-performance component for the UK Version 7, 8, and 9 STi and JDM Version 7 models from the factory. This short block is an ideal foundation for builds targeting up to 400 BHP, with ARP head bolts being recommended for achieving this power level. The engine's construction features an EJ207 'S20C' semi-closed deck block, EJ207 'Bolted' connecting rods, and EJ207 92mm forged pistons. It also includes OEM engine bearings, an OEM steel crankshaft, a rear crankshaft seal, a new style pressed steel oil separator plate, and an engine bung set. This unit offers a direct fit for all EJ20 engines manufactured between 1992 and 2021, provided the correct thickness head gasket is utilized. However, a specific modification is required for non-AVCS vehicles: the original breather system will need to be adjusted as this block utilizes two crankcase breathers. This part is compatible with a broad range of Subaru models, including Impreza, Forester, and Legacy. It is specifically noted to be fitted to UK Version 7, 8, and 9 STi and JDM Version 7 from the factory.
