The PLM Subaru WRX & STi EJ EJ25 Equal Length Header is engineered to enhance your Subaru’s performance by delivering a smoother exhaust flow, leading to significant power gains and improved throttle response. The equal length design ensures optimal exhaust pulse scavenging, contributing to increased horsepower and torque across the RPM range. Key features include short primary tubes for quicker turbo spool-up and a symmetrical tubing design. The specifications detail 1.65" primary tubes that step to 2.0" piping at the 4-1 merge collector, all constructed with mandrel-bent tubing for smooth flow. The header utilizes a stainless steel cast merge collector. This header is designed for WRX & STi EJ-Series engines with an OEM location turbo and uses the EJ25 oil pan. However, specific installation notes apply depending on the model year. For 2006-2007 models, the oil cooler assembly may obstruct installation, requiring a change to either the 02-05 WRX or 04-16 STI oil filter housing. For 2002-2005 WRX models, a 2.5L or STI oil pan is necessary.
