The Old Man Emu EL100R is a rear, medium-duty leaf spring from ARB, engineered to optimize ride performance regardless of operating conditions. These springs are designed to enhance a vehicle's performance, including load-carrying capacity and control characteristics, particularly when paired with Old Man Emu 4x4 shock absorbers. The development process involves specialist engineers who test and modify combinations in demanding environments to ensure suitability for various needs. Constructed from steel, the EL100R features a 3+1 leaf configuration. Its spring rate is rated at 167/589 lbf/in, with an eye diameter of 50 mm at the front and 40 mm at the rear. Each spring undergoes load testing to meet stringent specifications and is fully scragged to achieve a permanent 'set,' minimizing the risk of sagging over time. This leaf spring is specifically designed for the Chevrolet Colorado, model years 2015-2020. It is recommended that delivery be made to a commercial or business address due to the item's oversized nature and associated handling charges.
