Elantra N Induction Kit

The Forge Motorsport Induction Kit is a performance-focused cold air intake system engineered specifically for the Hyundai Elantra N. It achieves this by utilizing a massive 102 mm diameter CNC mandrel-bent alloy pipe that routes air more directly to the engine, bypassing restrictive factory components. A key feature of this kit is its high-flow, high-efficiency air filter, which replaces the less efficient stock panel filter. The filter, sourced from Forge Motorsport's filtration partner Pipercross, boasts a multi-layer foam construction that flows 60% more air than the original. For climates where foam filters may degrade, a pleated conical filter option is also available, both of which are washable. The design is an adaptation of successful kits for the i30N and Veloster N, with minor adjustments to the bend radius to ensure clearance for the large 4-inch aluminum pipe. A custom stainless steel ECU bracket is included to properly house the engine's management control unit, facilitating a perfect fit for the chosen filter. Internal bore diameters are precisely tuned to deliver the optimal air quantity, promoting consistent power gains across the rev range without sacrificing low-end torque. The pipework is engineered to feed the turbocharger without interruption, resulting in an audible enhancement of induction acoustics during acceleration, which enriches the driving experience for the Hyundai's 2.0 four-cylinder turbo engine. Hyundai quotes figures of 275 bhp and 278 lb.ft for the standard vehicle; however, testing with this intake on a development vehicle equipped with a CAT-backed performance exhaust resulted in figures of 296 bhp and 310 lb.ft.
