Description

The PCM electric fan kit replaces the restrictive stock fan setup to help free up engine power and improve fuel economy. The system features a custom-designed, black powdercoated laser-cut shroud paired with a high-performance SPAL fan. To maximize cooling efficiency, the shroud includes pre-cut flapper valves that allow for better airflow during highway driving. Installation of this kit is rated at approximately 1.5 hours with a difficulty level of 2 out of 5. For 2008 and newer models, a patch in the ECM is required to operate the fans; the kit includes a voucher for this service, though it can also be performed using HP Tuners. For 2006-2007 models, the fan is controlled by the included wiring harness, which receives signals from a temperature sensor installed into the radiator hose and the vehicle's A/C system. Each kit includes the fan assembly, wiring harness, required brackets, and installation hardware.
