Electric Fan Oil Cooler

The Harley Davidson Milwaukee-Eight Oil Cooler Fan (26800195) is engineered to enhance engine performance and prolong oil life, particularly for motorcycles equipped with high-performance parts or those subjected to extensive low-speed operation, such as parade duty or continuous idling. This fan automatically engages when the engine oil temperature reaches a certain threshold. When operational, it can reduce oil temperature by as much as 50 degrees Fahrenheit relative to a standard oil cooler. The fan and its associated electronics are weather-rated for reliable performance in the demanding conditions of motorcycle use. However, ECM reprogramming by a Harley-Davidson® dealer is a mandatory step to complete the installation. No splicing or rewiring is required for the fan itself. This kit fits '17-later Touring models that feature air/oil-cooled Milwaukee-Eight® engines. It is explicitly stated that this fan does not fit models with Twin-Cooled engines, nor Trike and Police models that already have fan-assisted oil coolers. Additionally, it is incompatible with '18-19 CVO models and Oil Cooler Covers with part numbers 25700633 or 25700634.
