Overview

The Bearon Aquatics Ice Eater (MPN: 26000) is a professional-grade de-icer designed to prevent ice formation and melt existing ice around boats, docks, marinas, and piers. Originally developed by The Power House, Inc., it uses a patented Venturi shroud housing that draws warmer subsurface water upward, creating circulation that breaks through ice and prevents refreezing.

Key features include a heavy-duty PVC shroud, a 16-gauge 304 SS motor housing with a bronze end-bell for corrosion-free operation, and a 316 stainless steel motor shaft ideal for saltwater applications. The motor exceeds NEMA specifications and is UL and CSA compliant, with a quick-disconnect power cord for easy replacement.
