The Grote 73240 is a standard tone backup alarm designed to provide audible warnings of moving vehicles, enhancing safety in busy work environments. It features a self-adjusting sound level ranging from 87 to 107dB, ensuring clear audibility across various ambient noise conditions. The alarm is constructed with a rugged glass-filled nylon housing for durability.

This backup alarm operates on a 12/24V system and has a low amperage draw of 0.4A. It meets SAE J994 Type F standards and is designed for surface mounting with a blunt cut connection type. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for demanding conditions.
