The Electronic Points Box with Rev Limiter controls the Pro-Mag 44 energy. It uses a magnetic pickup in the generator for the trigger signal, providing a long-duration spark and quick rise time. MSD electronic circuitry instantly delivers generator power to the coil, producing high voltage for plug gap ionization. Current then ensures ignition of nitro-methane, flowing across the plug for a full 26° of crankshaft rotation for complete combustion. It features a cast aluminum housing for mounting and heat dissipation, with circuits protected against vibrations by a heavy-duty Humi-Seal compound. RPM Modules are sold separately.
