The Honda OEM 16400-RYE-A11 is a genuine Acura throttle body, engineered as a direct replacement for select Acura models. This electronic control throttle body measures 80mm at the bore, with a 79mm inlet diameter that tapers to a 70mm outlet. It is specifically designed for Acura MDX and ZDX vehicles equipped with the 3.7L 3664CC 6-cylinder J37A5 engine, spanning model years 2010 through 2013. This throttle body upgrade aims to increase airflow to the cylinders, potentially leading to improved power gains. It is recommended for installation after essential bolt-on modifications such as an intake, header, exhaust, and Hondata Flash Pro have been completed. Note that this component requires an adapter for use with RBC and PRC style flanged manifolds and will necessitate a tune after installation to function correctly.
